Phonospheric is a small-scale label set up in 2009 by Adrian Shenton in Cardiff, UK. We love music that draws upon real world sounds and that creates, in turn, its own soundspace. Experimentation (aka playing around) is in our blood and we are not aiming to follow any genre, movement or individual artist. Our discs will be produced in strictly limited numbers on a home computer to the highest possible standard. Each disc will have lightscribed graphics, a process taking about 40 minutes per disc, be burnt at the slowest possible speed and will have a photographically based cover illustration. Good music makes its own time, so we don't hurry the making.
We do, however, think that you deserve to recieve our music without delay when you purchase. Since our discs are produced in such small quantities, we ask you to contact us first via our contact page or MySpace to check availability. We will then let you know how to make payment (paypal only, for now) and, when that is done, despatch your disc without delay.
